Misty came into our care with red inflamed skin and covered in scabs. She was living her life for years in pain and neglect with improper veterinary care. Her ears were so filthy and inflamed that they appeared to be bleeding, and her nails had grown so long that they were digging into her paw pads.
Misty needed us, and we welcomed her into our care. Our Shelter Medicine Team went immediately to work assessing Misty’s needs and providing the soothing care she needed.
